High-End Automation: SCIO Automation at Motek 2024
From October 8 to 11, SCIO Automation will be showcasing its portfolio for production and assembly automation in Hall 5, Booth 5310, with a focus on special machinery and controls technologies. Get ready to explore comprehensive solutions ranging from custom machinery, digitalization, and system integration to high-precision systems within the Discrete Automation business segment.
Motek is back, and so is SCIO Automation. Join us in hall 5 at our shared booth 5310, where professionals immerse themselves in the world of automated manufacturing for industry 4.0. How? The open-concept booth encapsulates what the SCIO Discrete Automation business segment offers: a comprehensive package for production and assembly automation throughout a plant’s entire lifecycle. Our segment’s portfolio, consisting of the brands Autkom, Industrial Automation, MRB Automation, VESCON Automation, VESCON Systemtechnik, tmp, CEC Controls, and Matrix Engineered Systems, is divided into two main areas: Special Machinery and Controls Technologies.
In the Special Machinery area, we combine our expertise in (custom) mechanical engineering and developing high-precision systems, including:
- Alignment and calibration systems
- Fully/semi-automated production lines
- Measurement and testing systems
- Robotic cells
A special highlight: our state-of-the-art Active Alignment System. Imagine a camera system being perfectly aligned, frame by frame - and all fully automated. This technology, which achieves a level of precision comparable to the human eye’s, will be demonstrated live on-site in a hands-on laboratory setup.
Around the booth, visitors can once again expect to see our “Gin-O-Bot” from last year. This smart robotic cell, connected with the intelligent BDE and traceability software HIBERION, not only serves cold drinks – it leads you interactively into the second area as well: Controls Technologies. Here, you’ll discover our expertise in:
- PLC programming and smart production
- Intelligent data acquisition
- E-mobility and battery assembly
- After-sales service and machine safety
VR glasses in hand, visitors continue to interactively engage with our teams on simulations, virtual commissioning, digital twin technology, and visual project engineering using our proprietary SO3 software. This makes digitalization a tangible reality and finishes the comprehensive Smart Factory experience in style.
